A block of units in Edmonton, south of Cairns, shown finished while it was still being built, with the neighbourhood around it.
The Brief
A development film for riseNQ Projects, selling a new block of units on Mount Peter Road in Edmonton, south of Cairns, while it was still under construction.
The Approach
We worked from 23 photos of the unfinished site and three drone shots. We finished the driveway and the gardens and furnished all three unit types. The film opens on the neighbourhood with the time it takes to reach each place, walks through the units and ends over the block at dusk.
What We Delivered
A 2 minute 3 second film, mastered in 4K at 16:9.
How It Was Made
This block of units on Mount Peter Road in Edmonton, south of Cairns, was still being built when we made its film. We had 23 photos of the site as it stood, with bare dirt along the driveway and every room empty, plus three drone shots. From those we finished the driveway and the gardens, furnished all three unit types and opened the film on the neighbourhood around the block.
What We Received
Every photo we had of the site, as it arrived. The block was still under construction, so parts of the driveway were bare dirt, the temporary fencing was still up and every room was empty.
Before And After
Each site photo next to the shot we made from it, in the order they appear in the film. We finished what was still being built, furnished the empty rooms and, at the end, took the block into the evening.

Around The Block
The film opens on the neighbourhood, with how long it takes to get to each place from the front door. We made these shots from reference images of each place.
